Rap stands for Rhythm And Poetry
It does not stand for Rebel Against People
No violence, no hate, no room to discriminate, but it's too late
There is a difference between to know and to see
But WE, are the chosen generations, to rise above the tides
And fly high to the sky, like a dove released by God upon this Earth
And the worth of each person is no worse than the first
Or the one preceeding. We are teeming with life and love and laughter
We will write a new chapter in history, and go from one life to the next
searching for the meaning of our existence, but will we forever be vexed
NO! Instead we flow through our vocabulary in hopes of making someone else die
In the minds eye, we will realize that all thoughts pent up inside will come out
And all knows will come to an end and defy all races
Do we dare lie to our children and tell them what is not true
Do we dare deprive them of the knowledge that we are the few
Should we decide to deny the knifes stabbing ourselves in the back
Should we ever lack the proper logic and wisdom
Should we stop and never rack our brains and become stains upon a window sill
Looking outside into the life we wished we had, that's when we become ill
No fights, but no insight either, nothing to accompany emotion,
Just a commotion that is not really there, driving us crazy
Turning us lazy. It never stops being amazing how we can watch one get killed
We are the generations that grew up listening to rap but we can't practice it
There are racial boundries to overcome, and I for one plan to overrun
I think we should all do the same, no fame left to bring to our name
Why play games for things like rings and bling
Shouldn't we all just descend and defend our ends while bringing knowledge
It does not stand for Rebel Against People
